Back Country Days

Ski touring is hard work. It’s cold, it’s sweaty and it’s tiresome, but it is one of the most rewarding activities you will ever do in the mountains. The fresh air and incredible view’s have a way of making people come back for more. That untouched pow line is just a sweet addition to an already awesome day! Taking joy in the hike up is part of the journey but the ride down is always the best part. I find, however, that good company has a way of making the slog up a lot of fun. The back country is a place to be respected as well as celebrated. It is a place of solace and beauty.
